How to root Xolo A1000

These are the instructions to root Xolo A1000 smartphone using Smart Phone 
Flash Tool on Windows Computer. 
Requirements: Your Xolo A1000 Smartphone should have at 
least 50 percent or above battery to perform the rooting process.

Root Xolo A1000</h2>
Step 1: <a href="http://androidxda.com/download-xolo-usb-drivers" target="_blank" title="Download Xolo USB Drivers">Download</a> and install Xolo A1000 USB Driver on your Windows 
Computer.

Step 2: <a href="https://drive.google.com/uc?id=0B6xlBPoXgsR3RndQZ2otSEJ6YUk" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Download</a> and extract the Xolo A1000 root files on your 
computer. After extracting you will be able to see the following files:

Step 3: Enable USB Debugging mode on your Xolo A1000 
smartphone. To Enable USB Debugging: Settings > Developer 
Options > USB Debugging (Tick to enable it).

Step 4: Copy SuperSU.zip to your Phone SD 
Card or MicroSD Card.

Step 5: Power Off your Xolo A1000 
Smartphone and connect it to the computer. 
Step 6: Now, Open Flash_tool.exe (you have 
downloaded it in Step#2).

Step 7: Once Smart Phone Flash Tool is launched, Click on 
the Scatter-Loading button and locate 
the MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt (you have downloaded it in 
Step#2).

Step 8: Once Scatter file is added in Smart Phone Flash 
Tool, you will be able to see a list is created. Click on the 
Recovery and locate the recovery.img (you have 
downloaded it in Step#2).

Step 9: Now, Click on the Window Menu 
in Smart Phone Flash Tool and select Write Memory.

Step 10: Under memory Setting, Select EMMC 
Button.

Step 11: Now, in Smart Phone Flash Tool click on the 
Open Raw Data Button and select 
the recovery.img (you have downloaded it 
in Step#2).

Step 12: Now, under the write parameter, Change the 
Begin Address (Hex) value to 0×1588000 and 
Container Length (Hex) value to 0×600000.

Step 13: Now click on the Write memory to 
begin the flashing process.

Step 14: Once flashing is competed, again Switch 
off your Smartphone (in case it restart automatically). 
Step 15: Now, Boot into Recovery Mode on your Xolo A1000 
smartphone. To Boot into recovery mode: Press and Hold Volume 
Up and Power Key at same time for 5-8 seconds until 
CWM recovery is enabled. 
Step 16: Once you boot into CWM recovery, Select 
Install Zip from SDcard option and locate the 
Supersu.zip file (you have copied this file in 
Step#4). 
Step 17: Once installation is completed, Select 
Restart System Now from Recovery Menu.

Step 18: Now your Xolo A1000 is successfully Rooted. To 
check whether your tab is rooted correctly, open Applications 
Menu, there you will be able to see a new app installed, called 
SuperSU. If this app exist then it means you have successfully 
rooted your Xolo A1000.

Optional: You can also verify that your device is

Sources told TOI Tech that the company is gearing up to introduce its first Windows Phone-based, ultra-light smartphone in early July. The phone, part of its Xolo Win series, will run on Windows Phone 8.1 mobile operating system. It will be a budget device priced around Rs 12,000 and is likely to be the lightest ever phone, weighing a little under 100 gram. A Xolo spokesperson, however, refused to confirm the details, saying the company did not want to discuss its under-development phones or the launch road map. However, TOI Tech has learnt that the Xolo Win smartphone could sport a 4.7-inch screen and will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 200-8212 quad-core processor. This will, of course, not be the first Windows Phone handset by an Indian company as rival Micromax is set to beat Xolo with the launch of two budget WP 8.1 smartphones based on Qualcomm Snapdragon microprocessor on June 16. So far, Samsung Galaxy S4 mini remains the lightest phone at 107 gram, followed by Apple iPhone 5S at 112 gram and HTC Desire 500 at 123 gram. In past one year, Xolo has been establishing itself as a distinct brand different from its parent Lava which also sells under Lava brand name. The two brands have overlapping Android-based offerings, but Lava largely caters to entry-level phones. Is lightest the smartest? Even as Apple founder Steve Jobs felt smartphone users did not want a screen bigger than 4-inch in size, rivals globally went ahead and made phones with bigger screen sizes, sometimes overdoing it with obnoxious sizes like 6 inches (and above) that border on tablets. Thus the term 'phablets' was coined! The jury, however, is still out as to how much lighter, bigger or thinner smartphones can get due to practical restriction imposed by the need for a good grip! Phones that weigh around 100 gram, sport a screen of around 5 inch and are thin enough to fit the palm comfortably could be here to stay until the smartphones are completely reinvented.</div>
